In recent years, Chantzis family, cultivates more than 12.500 pomegranate trees (variety: Wonderful), 12.500 cherry trees (varieties: Black Star, Blaze Star, Grace Star, Big Star and Vassileiadis) and 7,500 apple trees (varieties: Fuji M9 and Forlady M9) are grown on private estates.
They are all grown in the region of Thessaly (central Greece) renowned for its fertility, which lends the fruits extra savor.

The pomegranate is one of the fruits best known ever since antiquity and has always been a symbol of health, fertility and prosperity, as numerous peoples acknowledged its beneficial qualities.
Indeed, Hippocrates himself recognized the value of pomegranate and called it miraculous fruit.
Currently, science confirms that ancient wisdom was well grounded and classifies this precious red fruit in the super-foods because of its high content of vitamins (A, C, E, folic acid), ferrum, potassium, fibers and antioxidants (such as tannins, polyphenols and anthocyanines).
